O, Christmas Tree

You have to be put away, but not quite yet. Certainly before you start shedding all your needles everywhere....the vacuum IS broken. Amazon prime promises me another one tomorrow.
The toys are played with and loved.
All the wrapping paper is ripped and a few ribbons reclaimed from the recycle pile.
The stockings are empty and mine had some Starbucks cards!
Disney made a first appearance: Buzz Lightyear action figure and kid wing apparatus. I don't regret it AT ALL. The boys are busy getting to infinity and beyond.
Tryn had her first bout with jealousy and high expectations and not knowing what to with it.
Annika didn't get her big present in the mail...a few tears. They have exited pure delight then grabbing to a more sophisticated stage of sin. All emergencies conquered.
God was exceedingly kind to us this year. A new beautiful baby, material blessings a plenty, wise counsel, good preaching, community and fellowship deepening and wide. Last night it dawned on me that I will be 35 and that suddenly seems really fast. Glad that I can enjoy in heaven what I cannot possibly get to here, and that for hundreds of millions of years. Funny, I cringed at writing hundreds of millions of years because usually that is evolutionary propaganda. Bite me, Darwin.....you can't ruin my afterlife.
