Tryn is on lesson 25 in Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons and breezing on through. It is a well thought out little book and much less painful to do than I originally imagined. 15 minutes a day and she is reading words!
Tristan is saying things like, "talk the phone?" "Oh! Mama, duh phone" (when it rings) "Help!" "I did it" "bob duh buiwder" "choo choo" "truck" "More pease" His vocabulary has exploded in the last month. Today he started singng the hymn "What 'er My God Ordains is Right" with "I take content what He has sent" clear as a bell.
And "Nothing but the Blood of Jesus" is another favorite song. He usually walks around with a book in his hands as he sings
I am tending toward impassioned discussions about birth control, family planning, socialization with homeschooling, and schedule fed babies that grow up and aren't required to eat any solid food (although the breastfeeding was like a Nazi torture camp?) I don't follow the logic. I pity those exposed to my very hormonal influenced argumentation.
