Good Day

Today was a productive day.
Bathroom cleaned, taught Tryn the basics of how to do that.
Bread started: almost in the oven.
Chicken cooked for soup.
Laundry all dumped down the stairs by gleeful children and I managed to sort it and get two loads done already. Vacuumed and tidied the main floor.
Read Brer Rabbit book to the girls.
Sent the kids outside for a half hour. Tristan loves it the most and doesn't mind the wet one bit.
Did our Bible story, prayer and singing at lunch.
Checked ebay for maternity clothes deals (that was the big time waster)
This while the girls played with the new Cuisenaire rods (very excited)
Tristan is napping peacefully.

How this managed to happen? Well, I suppose the fact that I made a plan on Sunday night for the week made a distinct difference. I use my time more effectively if I have a better overall picture of the week.
Now I might actually take a short breather on the couch!
